Email Options

Email Options let you specify settings for resizing pictures and for which email program to use.

To set your Email Options:

1. Choose Options from the Tools menu. The Options dialog appears with the General tab selected.
2. Set the options described below and click OK.

Email Program: You may choose to send email from your normal email program, from your Gmail account, or using your Hello username. To send pictures with one click, select your email program of choice and uncheck the "Let me choose each time I send pictures" option.

Output Options:

Specify a default size for sending one picture or multiple pictures. Drag the resize slider to change your default size for each option. Choosing a smaller size when sending multiple pictures will result in lower quality picture, but a faster download for your recipients.

If you are sending movie files, you can specify whether Picasa will send the entire movie or just the first frame.

Choosing the Output Format: Send as HTML storybook option will create a formatted email message that has editable text under each picture.  This option does not work with Gmail or Picasa Mail.
